“Let’s go to the park!”
“Let’s go to the park!”
“Let’s go to the park!”
My cousin sister kept screaming into my ears.
“But beauty and the beast is playing on tv. You know I love it!” I replied.
I didn’t even budge. I decided that my Disney cartoon was way more important.
She pulled my arms. “No, we are going NOW!”
“You’re boring!”
Well, I had to say something fast and she gave me the death stare.
I decided that it was not even worth it to argue. Revenge is a dish best served cold. At the back of my mind, I knew that I had Disney’s DVD. I planned to come back and watch the DVD from scratch all over again. TWICE! Who knows, I love it so much. Maybe even more. Back to back.
Seriously serve her right! She spoilt my Sunday, I’ll destroy her full stay. It was the school holidays, and she was staying over for a week. “FINE, I screamed back at her.”
While walking, I looked up at the sky and realized that the sun was setting for the day.
There was a playground in front of me.
Flowers were blossoming, and the grass smelled fresh.
From the corner of my eye, I caught that 2 boys were playing “Blind man.”
The blind man is a game where you have to cover up your eyes up with a blindfold, and you have to find and catch the other person you’re playing with, by using all your other senses except the sense of sight.
It’s up to you to decide how you would try to catch them. You could use your knowledge of smelling them to find them, or you could do it my way and make sure that you can see through the blind-fold.
JUST CHEAT! Seriously, why not? It’s definitely more comfortable, and you can choose who to catch ‘silently.’ Well, why not make the most of it?
For this game, the more the players, the more fun the game.
My cousin and I decided to join them. So, my cousin asked if we could join them.
While my cousin was chatting with one of the boys, I made eye-contact with the other one who was silently listening, and he caught it right away.
Oh! He’s cute, I thought.
In that instant, he smiled and said, ‘Yes, why not?’
I smiled.
