Chapter 2, Part 5: Oh, That Cutie!

Maria and Melly stared at me directly. I could literally see their eyes pop out.

“WHAT, are you, girls, staring at?” I questioned, with a smile.
I knew what their mouths were itching about to ask me, but I decided to act cool.

“Sarah! What, how, who, how?” Maria’s mouth was still wide open.
Melly added in, “I think Maria would like to know, How?”

I tried to control my laughter, but my dimples were flaunting right before I could even control myself.

Melly and Maria, just couldn’t take their eyes off me.

I smiled and replied, “Well, I sorta know him.”

“Sarah, give me details!” Maria demanded to know.

“well, I sort of played with him.”

“Wait! What do you mean played?” Melly raised her eyebrow and gave me a cheeky smile.

I burst out laughing! Maria giggled.

“OH! Come on you girls! I just met him yesterday at the playground, and we played the game blind man, along with our cousins.”

I could hear both Maria and Melly, scoff right at me.

Maria looked at Melly. “She played with him!”

Melly laughed.

I laughed.

“Yes, you heard me right, there were a total of 4 of us playing that game!”

Melly leaned toward Maria, angled her head near her neck and just started sniffing her around her ears and neck, in a very playful way. Sniff* sniff*.

At that very moment, Maria pushed Melly away.
“What on earth are you trying to smell?”

Melly laughed while she exclaimed,
“Maria, I can see and smell some smoke come out of your ears, it sounds and smells like you’re jealous!” She sniffed her again.

“Get off me, Melly!” Maria shouted.

Maria laughed right after she replied to Melly’s question.

“Yes, I am! He’s the cutest guy in the classroom!”

I nodded in agreement, and this time, all 3 of us laughed.

I looked to the right, to have a little peek at him and saw that, he was smiling too.

“Did he listen to the whole conversation?” I wondered.
